An amazing woman, amazing mother and an amazing life lived.
Gloria June Webb was born on January 6, 1950, to the late Mami and Jesse Hall. June was raised in Spanish Fort, Alabama.
June celebrated life with Christ daily. She was a woman with remarkable unwavering faith and a servant’s heart. June met the love of her life when she was 21 years old, Charles Scott (Scotty) Webb. They were married when June was 22. Scotty and June built a family and life together. Their love for one another was only matched by their love of their family and their love of Jesus.
June and Scotty had 3 children together. In 1982 they moved to Alabaster, AL. where they found a house and made it a home. June was a well-known, well liked, well respected, and dearly loved member of the community. She worked at the high school, helped with the community sports, until the city of Alabaster hired her into the building department. Eventually June was offered a position working for the City of Hoover where she worked the remainder of her career.
Upon retiring, June and Scotty traveled. They made many trips to Alaska and Hawaii and multiple road trips in their RV. June also loved to paint. There are many of her paintings hanging in her home.
June will be missed but not forgotten. June passed peacefully surrounded by family. She was a blessing to all who knew her, and her memories will be cherished. June has a surviving husband of 51 years, Scotty. She has 3 sons, Jeff, Cliff, and Jason. June has one Granddaughter, Jeff’s daughter Zoie.
