June L. George1919 - 2014June L. George, 95 of Kenosha, died on Wednesday, Sept. 10, 2014, at her residence.A lifelong resident of Kenosha, she was born on Jan. 6, 1919, and was the daughter of the late Gustdavies and Gertrude (Makouskie) Johnson. In 1938, she was united in marriage to Herbert George. He preceded her in death on Jan. 10, 1997.June was an industrious homemaker who loved caring for her family. She enjoyed taking care of her beautiful flower garden, bowling, bingo, playing cards; especially pinochle, and traveling to Las Vegas.She is survived by her granddaughter, Debbie (Bruce) Hendricks of Fredricksburg, Va.; her sister, Patricia Ramacci of Kenosha; her caregiver, Stella Uniejewska; and her many loving nieces and nephews.In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Arlene Holmes; a son, Dennis George; a brother, George Johnson; and a sister, Gertrude McClain.A Service of Committal will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 17, 2014, at 11 a.m. in Sunset Ridge Memorial Park.
