We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of June Hines, who died on August 4, 2024 after an acute illness in Elkhart, Indiana, United States. She was born on July 5, 1946 to her beloved parents Lloyd and Vivian. June had 3 sisters, Anna Jo (James) Haggard of Shawnee Oklahoma, Dinah (William) Loudermilk of Shawnee Oklahoma, Ellen (Robert Kelly) Wano of Shawnee Oklahoma, and 3 brothers, Michael (Debbie) Whitehead of Tulsa Oklahoma, Verlin Jr (Sylvia) Whitehead of Ada Oklahoma, Hyrum III (Beth) Smith of Ohio

June married her loving husband Harold in 1965 and together they raised their daughter Mary De Hines. June was a devoted mother and grandmother to her three grandchildren Robert (Brittney) Ward III, Jonathan (Kotie) Ward, Heather (Denver) Hedrick. June was also a devoted great grandmother to 11 living great grandchildren and one angel in Heaven.

June graduated from Carson Highschool in 1965 and went on to pursue her passion for collecting trinkets, including tea cups, humming birds, and dogs. Her hobby brought her much joy and she loved sharing her collection with friends and family.

June will be remembered for her warmth, kindness, and generosity. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
