Niblock, JuneJune Irene Niblock, age 85, of Ithaca, N.Y., passed away peacefully at Hospicare of Tompkins County on October 7, 2017, following a long, courageous battle with bladder cancer. Mrs. Niblock was born on September 21, 1932 in Troupsburg, N.Y. She lived her life gracefully. She believed in fairness and giving others the benefit of the doubt. The daughter of Gordon and Carrie Price, she graduated from Genesee (Penn.) High School then attended the Olean (N.Y.) Business Institute.Upon graduation in 1951 from OBI, she was employed by the School of Industrial and Labor Relations at Cornell University. She was the executive assistant to four Deans during her tenure.Mrs. Niblock is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Robert Niblock; her daughter, Marchell (James) Sperger, of Ithaca, N.Y.; her son, Brian Niblock, of Ithaca, N.Y.; her assistant and beloved Terri-Poo, Sparky; brother, Duane (Sue) Price, of Ormond Beach, FL.; sister, Rosemary (Jack) Rathbun, of Allegany, N.Y.; and brother, Eldon (Kitty) Price, of Wellsbooro, PA.Graveside services will be celebrated by Fr. Augustine Chumo on Thursday, October 12, 2017 at 9:30 am at the South Hill Cemetery.
