We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Justin Brian Peters, (Pete) who left this world far too soon at the age of 47 on October 29, 2024 in Greensboro, Georgia. He is known for his quick wit infectious laugh and love for life.
Pete was born on January 4, 1977 to his loving parents, Horace Peters and Shirley Tate. He leaves behind wife Kim Peters, and three children Delilah Merritt, and two sons. Sisters Amy Leach(Clay) & Donna Smith both of Greensboro two brothers John Peters (Carmelita) & Howard Peters both of Greensboro Ga .
Nieces Amber Wheeler, Alexus Leach, Kinsey Peters, Heather Wilkison, Beth Silvey & Brittany Savage. Nephews Christian Leach, Marcus Leach, Aaron Peters, Brandon Silvey & Rick Silvey
Pete attended Bethel Christian School, where he played football and excelled in everything he participated in , he graduated in 1995. He then went on to work at Athens Bandage & Poterfield Tire. His love for fast cars and his gift for painting he embarked on an entrepreneurial journey with his brother John. Together, they opened a successful paint & body tire shop in Greensboro, where Pete's charm and customer service skills won over many loyal customers.
Pete later went on to work at Greensboro Tire, where he continued to leave a lasting impact on all those he encountered. His sense of humor and infectious personality will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Although Pete may no longer be with us, his memory will live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and all those who were lucky enough to have crossed paths with him. Rest in peace, Pete and may your laughter continue to echo through the heavens.
