Justine F. Kastman1919 - 2015Justine F. Kastman, 96, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully, Thursday, Dec. 31, 2015, at her residence.She was born on July 11, 1919, to the late Edward L. and Olga D. (Miller) Fregien in Racine. She was educated in Racine and graduated from Horlick High School and the Robert Morris Business College.In April of 1969 she married William Kastman. He preceded her in death on Jan. 15, 2011.She worked at the Electric Company in Racine, for the government in Washington D.C. and for Juvenile Court in the Kenosha County Courthouse.Justine was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.Justine was a member of Chapter 92 of the Order of the Eastern Star, a member of the Supreme Lodge of the Danish Sisterhood of America and the Kenosha Senior Center.Justine enjoyed playing cards, making jewelry and visiting with her friends and neighbors. Justine is survived by her loving sister Carol Johnstone of Mountain View, Calif., her nephew Ronald (Fern) Fregien and her nieces Judith (Gerald) Willms and Joan (James) Burton. Her 52 grand nieces and nephews and great grand nieces and nephews also survive her.Two brothers Edward L. Fregien and Warren W. Fregien precede her in death.Funeral Services for Justine will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 5, at 11 a.m. at the Bruch Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Tuesday morning from 10 a.m. until the time of service. Private family interment will follow.
