Ms. Karen Matthews daughter of Gwen Hunt was born March 10, 1965 in Baltimore, Maryland .

On Thursday, July 15, 2021 Karen suddenly departed this life and entered her Enternal home and resting place with Almighty God.

Karen was educated in the Newark Public School System. karen loved spending time in the kitchen creating delicious meals and trying out new recipes. Banana pudding was one of her great desserts and enjoyed by most. She was also a music lover of oldies but goodies but enjoyed house music. Also Karen worked at hertz and bj's for many years and was appreciated, respected and loved as a customer service representative.

She was a loving and devoted mother to Shawn and Andre Outler both of Kansas City,Mo and son Eric Outler of Newark,Nj and a proud grandmother to Aiden Outler , Aubree Outler, Kannon Outler and Simora Outler. She leaves to cherish her memories Kevin Matthews, Monique Hunt, Jean Claude Hunt jr and Lisa Hartley all residing in Newark, Nj she was a mother in-law to Desiree Outler of Kansas City, Mo and Suesha Outler of Newark,Nj she leaves behind laughter and memories to a host of neices and nephews, other relatives and friends.
