Housum, KarenKaren S. Housum, age 67, of Fremont, died peacefully in her home, with her family on Thursday, December 8, 2016. Karen battled cancer for 5 years and fought it with great strength. Karen was born on July 9, 1949, in Merrill, WI, the daughter of Vernon and Margy(Degner)Woller. She was married to Pete Housum for 30 years. Karen enjoyed her casino trips, spending time with her family and friends, and she loved her cats. She worked for Jeldwen fo 25 years. Karen will be sadly missed by her husband, Pete; her children, Rhonda(Matt)Edwards, Randy Jensen, Kallie Housum and Michael(Patti)Housum; her mother, Margy Woller; six grandchildren, one great-grandchild, four step-grandchildren; two brothers, John(Sharon)Woller, and Scotty Woller; her sister, Linda(Mark)Winger, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She will join her father, Vernon Woller, her grandson, Joseph Vaughan, and her cat, Tigger, in heaven. A Celebration of Life to honor Karen will be held at a later date.
