Burlington, passed away on Saturday, January 21, 2017 at the UVM Medical Center with her family by her side.She was born on March 15, 1963 the daughter of the late Kenneth and Carol (Phillips) Daley.She graduated from South Burlington High School and received her Associates Degree from Champlain College. Karen enjoyed spending time with her nieces and nephews and exploring Vermont with Cindy. Her hobbies included baking, crafts, photography and visiting covered bridges. She loved animals, especially her cats, and Toys for Tots. She contributed to these various causes regularly.Karen is survived by her brothers Kevin Daley and wife Melissa of Essex Center, Timothy Daley of Boston, MA, her sister Kimberly Fontaine and husband Paul of So. Burlington; her nieces and nephews Ashley and Heather, Alexandra, David, Kenneth, and Katelyn; and by her forever best friend Cindy Trombly of Milton. She will be dearly missed by all her family.Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, January 25, 2017 from 4:00pm to 6:00pm at the Ready Funeral & Cremation Service South Chapel, 261 Shelburne Rd., Burlington. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday. January 26, at 11:30am at St. John Vianney Church, So. Burlington with burial to follow in Resurrection Park Cemetery.
