Karen Marie “Pickle” Staron Age 58, of Burlington, passed away Sunday, November 18, 2012 at C & C Homestead. Karen was born on December 22, 1953 in Elmhurst, IL, to John C. and Edith A. (nee Gostomski) Staron. She had attended Martin Enger School and worked for Career Industries in Burlington. Karen loved people and people in return loved her. She was always smiling and had a happy disposition. Karen loved her Little House on the Prairie Book. Survivors include her mother, Edith Staron and siblings; Dennis (Pidge) Staron, Ron (Janice) Staron, Doug (Holly) Staron, Kathleen (Mike) Keegan, Randy (Sue) Staron and Kimberly (Ed) Pike. Karen was preceded in death by her father, John Staron and a brother, Jeff Staron. Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 26, 2012 at 12:00 Noon at Schuette-Daniels Funeral Home with Rev. Mick Savio officiating. Relatives and friends may visit with the family at the funeral home on Monday, from 10:00 AM until the time of service. The family asks that you please honor Karen by wearing her favorite colors, pink and purple. Private burial will take place in Thorp, WI.
