Karen Renae Koller Obituary

Dec 01, 2016 - Dec 01, 2016

This obituary is administered by:
WESTON, Idaho - Our beloved mother, wife, daughter, sister and friend, Karen Renae (Still) Koller, passed away on Dec. 7, 2007, after a second courageous battle with cancer. She was just nearly 50 years young. Karen was born on Dec. 14, 1956, in Prince George, British Columbia, and raised in Alberta by her loving parents, LaVern and Merle Still. While attending Ricks College she met the greatest love of her life, Daniel E. Koller, and they were wed on Feb. 16, 1979, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Dan was not only her eternal companion, but her best friend and confidant. Dan and Karen raised their precious family in Weston, Idaho. Her family is very dear and precious to her. She will be missed greatly by all, but will continue to watch over us. She had many interests and talents. She especially enjoyed working with wood creating furniture and railings. She worked in the building/home improvement industry for many years and later at the Cleaning Center in Logan, Utah. She gained many lifelong friends as she had a great love for people and it gave her much enjoyment when she could be of help. Karen enjoyed serving in her many church callings in the Weston 1st Ward. She especially loved working with the Primary children in music. She enjoyed and appreciated all the many friends and associates in Weston who have helped and inspired her throughout her years here. She would love to thank each and every one. Karen loved her life and appreciated the 21 years she was able to survive after her first battle with cancer. She was grateful for the time to raise her children and spend more time with her dear husband, Dan. If, by chance, you saw one, you knew the other was close by. Karen is survived by her husband, Daniel E. of Weston, Idaho; her children, Amie M. (Rich) Mackay of South Weber, Utah, Daniel R. of Logan, Joseph (Melissa) of Logan and Jessica A. of Pocatello, Idaho; and her precious grandchildren, William and Kaitlyn Mackay of South Weber, Utah. She is also survived by her loving parents, LaVern and Merle Still of Raymond, Alberta, Canada; and her brothers and sisters, Ray Still (Charmaine) of Red Water, Alberta, Brenda (Rick) Benson of Blined Bay, British Columbia, Darrell Still (Leila) of Sterling, Alberta, Deena (Larry) Bronemann of Pocatello, Idaho, Roger Still (Kathy) of Spar Wood, British Columbia, Vivian (Bob) Richards of Magrath, Alberta, Danny Still (Charla) of Sterling, Alberta, and Sharon (Walter) Kruchywich of Lethbridge, Alberta. She is also survived by 44 beloved nieces and nephews. Though she will be greatly missed she will go on living in our hearts and memories till we see her again. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 14, in the Weston 1st Ward chapel with Bishop Alan Campbell conducting. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Webb Funeral Home, 109 E. Oneida, Preston, and from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Friday at the church. Interment will be in the Weston Cemetery. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.webbmortuary.com.
