Karen Thompson , age 52 of Atmore Alabama ,  passed away on Tuesday  morning October 2, 2018. She was surrounded by her four children as she slept into passing.  

She was a loving wife, mother, and homemaker, Karen was a remarkable cook and enjoyed preparing meals for her family and friends, most especially over the holidays. For many years leading up to her passing, she collected a large library of cookbooks and first edition novels from around the world. She loved to watch food tutorials and cooking channels during her spare time.

She was diagnosed with Terminal Breast cancer that she has been fighting since August 2016. 

Karen is survived by her husband, her two Daughters Brandi, and Ashley  as well as her younger sons Joshua and Cody, and her 3 grandchildren Elijah, Peyton, and Jonathan  and a number of other loving relatives and close friends.

Karen requested for an cremation and be spread between her children. The family wishes to thank all of those who cared for her during her last days.
