WAGNER, Karen Sue 66, of Huntsville, OH passed away Wednesday, November 9, 2016 at her home. Karen was born on March 23, 1950 in Urbana, OH a daughter of Carl Blankenship, who preceded her in death in 1972 and Mildred Brunotte Dorsey, who preceded her in death in 2007. On December 28, 1969, she married Phillip S. Wagner in Westville, OH and he survives along with two children, Greg (Marlene) Wagner of Celina, OH, and Jackie (Greg) Sell of Russells Point, OH, three grandchildren, Caleb, Hailey and Blake, three sisters, Barbara (Richard) Runkle of St. Paris, OH, Virginia (Norman) Fell of DeGraff, OH, and Marilyn (Gerald) Clark of London, OH, three brothers, Roger (Julia) Blankenship, Melvin (Jeanne) Blankenship and Michael (Phyllis) Blankenship, all of Springfield, OH, and several nieces and nephews. Karen was a 1968 graduate of Northeastern High School. She previously worked at Gillespie Oil, AVI Foods, and TRC. She was a member of
VFW Post# 1080 Auxiliary in Bellefontaine, OH. Karen enjoyed gardening, flowers, cooking, bowling and riding her motorcycle. She was an avid fan of the OSU Buckeyes, Cincinnati Reds and Cleveland Browns. Her great love was being with her family and watching her grandkids in their activities. Pastor Matthew Morley will begin funeral services at 1:00 pm, Monday, November 14, 2016 at Shoffstall Funeral Home, 205 S. Main St., Lakeview, OH. Visitation is Sunday, November 13th from 2-5 pm at the funeral home. Burial is in Huntsville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to Logan County .
