Poulsen, KatharineKatharine G. Poulsen, 100, Green Bay, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, January 13, 2017. She was born on July 25, 1916, in Oak Park, IL, to the late Charles and Frances Grier. Katharine married E. Morton Blakeslee on October 14, 1939, at Grace Church in Oak Park, IL. Morton preceded her on July 3, 1965. She later married Edmund C. Poulsen on October 16. 1976, in Greenfield, WI. Edmund preceded her on April 18, 1993. Katharine moved to Green Bay the following year. She was a long-time member of St. Anne's Episcopal Church.Katharine is survived by her daughters, Penny Blakeslee, Green Bay, Grier (Jule) Willems, Saukville, and Patty Rinka, Loyal; a step-daughter, Peggy (Bill) Rauschenberger, Franklin; grandchildren, Tammy Fontana, Singapore, Steve (Holly) Rinka, Los Angeles, Allan (Katie) Rinka, Osseo, Katharine (Jason) Griepentrog, Altoona, Paul (Angela) Rinka, Loyal, Kim (Todd) Mushall, Brown Deer; step-grandchildren, Megan Rauschenberger, Oak Creek, and Mandy (Brian) Klumb, Franklin; 9 great grandchildren; 3 step-great grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Patricia Dutton; and other relatives and friends.In addition to her parents and husbands, Katharine is preceded in death by a brother, Harry Grier.Visitation will be at St. Anne's Episcopal Church, 347 S. Libal St., from noon until 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 21, 2017. Memorial Service will be at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday at church with the Rev. Eric Mills officiating.
