Katheleen "Kay" Rockwell Becker, age 98, of the Harborcreek and Wesleyville area, passed away Thursday, November 17, 2016 at Sarah Reed Retirement Center. She was born on November 21, 1917, daughter of the late Jesse and Ethel Briggs. Kay was employed for 23 years at First National Bank, retiring as an Installment Loan Supervisor in 1983. She was a member of Luther Memorial Church, Eastern Star, Erie Shrine Auxilary, and The Erepa Grotto where she had fun being a member of The Kitchen Band. Kay enjoyed bowling at Perry Plaza Bowling League for 25 years, golfing, traveling world-wide with her husband, playing the organ, sewing, and knitting. She loved to walk and cross country ski. Kay was the last surviving member of the Wesleyville High School Class of 1935. Kay is survived by her son, David Rockwell (Cheryl); two sisters, Jesse Denniston and Claire Hill (Jack); brother, Donald Briggs; four grandchildren, Richard Vidic, Jr. (Cindy), Robyn Duban (Steve), James Vidic (Gerri Anne), and Julie Koenig (Alex); three great-grandsons, Bryce Duban, Noah and Landon Koenig; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Leon Rockwell; second husband, William Becker; and a daughter, Patricia Vidic. Friends may call at the Dusckas Funeral Home, Inc., 2607 Buffalo Rd., on Sunday from 4 to 8 p.m. and are invited to attend a Funeral Service there on Monday at 10 a.m., conducted by Pastor William Coleman.
