Katherine was born in Yakima, Washington, where she grew up until the age of 21. She then married Carmen Guerrero and moved to Seattle, Washington. Katherine had 7 children: Gina Kay, Edward Anthony, Carmella Maria, Joseph Alexander, Catherine Anne, Teresa Lucia, and Jesse Enoch. She attended nursing school at North Seattle Community College and also Highline Community College. She became a registered nurse working at the Burien Nursing Home and therapeutic health services.
Katherine loved to create Native American Indian style pottery and sell them at different Native American Indian pow wows. She loved the Native American people and would spend many hours listening to their music and songs and reading up on the Native American culture.
Katherine loved to spend time with her family, grandchildren and loved to laugh. Her smile could brighten up a room. Katherine loved to bake cookies, canned goods and she was a fantastic cook. She took pride in what she put on the table for her family.
Katherine was not only a good mother, but a good grandmother and friend as well. She always gave of herself and her time. She loved musical plays, such as Chicago, Jesus Christ Superstar, Fiddler on the Roof, just to name a few. She took pride and enjoyed spending many hours attending her children's ballerina classes and watching jazz, tap, and other arts.
Katherine loved life and loved her family.
