Bolognini, Katherine Katherine (Kathie) Bolognini, age 67, died in the home of her sister and brother-in-law in Corrales, NM on November 6, 2016 as a result of lung cancer. Kathie was born on December 9, 1948 in Honolulu, Hawaii. She graduated from Louisiana State University with a degree in Elementary Education in 1973 and later completed graduate studies to become an Educational Diagnostician. Kathie grew up in NM, lived in London, England, and in TX; she returned to her beloved NM 4 years ago. Kathie volunteered in Christian Education Programs at St. Mark's Episcopal Church and at Camp Stoney. She found joy in little children, color, fashion, and decorating. Kathie is survived by Jeff Horton, her son of Austin, TX; Vicki and Ron Reder, her sister and brother-in-law of Corrales, NM; John and Mary Bolognini, her brother and sister-in-law of Phoenix, AZ; and Jennifer, Andrea, and Benjamin, her nieces and nephew. She was preceded in death by Victor and Thelma Bolognini, her parents.
