Katherine L Williams, 60, passed away on Sunday, July 14, 2013 at Grace Hospice, in Mesa, AZ. She was born on May 16, 1953 in Wichita, Kansas.Katherine attended AWC in graduated from Yuma High school. She worked at YRMC in Yuma, then at Strawberry Fields retail store in Yuma. Katherine worked at Claire's Jewelry store for the past 15 years as district manager. She opened A Touch of Class Pet Grooming in Apache Junction with her daughter in 1996, then opened a Mesa location in 2010 and finally in Yuma in 2011. She showed horses and showed champion Scotties and standard poodles. She loved to ride her horses in her free time. She taught all her grandkids how to ride a horse. Katherine is survived by her partner, David Allen of Florence, AZ; daughters, Melissa Hall of Yuma, and Amie Masterson of Florence, AZ; sisters, Cheryl Millard of Kansas City, MO, and Bobbie Jo Rust; five grandchildren; one niece and 2 nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband Keith Craig; mother Gwen Rust and father Charles Rust.Services will be held at Community Church of New Thought in Mesa, AZ on July 29, 2013 at 10AM.
