On July 18, 2024, the world lost a shining light in Katherine Bartak, who passed away in her home in Tampa, Florida at the age of 80. Katherine was born on February 3, 1944, and from that day forward, she lived a life filled with love, compassion, and dedication.

Katherine was known for her unwavering commitment to education, working tirelessly as an elementary school teacher to inspire and shape the minds of young students. Her passion for teaching was evident in the way she approached her work with kindness and patience, leaving a lasting impact on all those she encountered.

Outside of the classroom, Katherine found solace in the pages of her favorite books. Reading was not just a hobby for her, but a source of joy and escape. She found comfort in the worlds created by authors, allowing her imagination to soar and her spirit to renew.

Katherine leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness that will be cherished by all who knew her. Her two children, Carol Stanczyk and John Cooper, will always hold their mother's memory close to their hearts. In addition, she leaves behind eight beloved grandchildren, who were the light of her life.

Though Katherine may no longer walk among us, her spirit will live on in the lives she touched and the hearts she warmed. Rest in peace, dear Katherine. Your memory will forever be a blessing to us all.
