Katherine M. Messerly 1920 - 2017 96 of Perry Township, passed away on Friday, Jan. 27, 2017 at the Canton Christian Home. She was born on Sept. 5, 1920 in Narrows, Va. and was the daughter of the late William and Katherine (Stoltz) Smith. She was a member of Perry Christian Church. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene and three brothers. Survivors include her son. Micky Messerly, her daughter Debra Davis, two grandsons, one great granddaughter and her sister Dorothy Miller. Funeral services will take place on Tuesday at 12 noon at the Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home with Chaplain Ron Iwanusa officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Hills Burial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 10-12 noon. In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested the Canton Christian Home and/or Aultman Hospice.
