Kathy Doyle passed away at age 68 on Thursday, November 16th, 2017 from a bacterial infection that attacked her heart.  She was surrounded by her daughter, her sister, and several of her longtime friends.

Kathy was born Kathleen Ellen Bissett in Portland, Oregon.  She was born to and preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Russell and Margaret Bissett of Gladstone, Oregon. Kathy is survived by her daughter and son in-law, Jennifer and Joshua Mitchell; her sister and brother-in-law, Debbie and Mark Anderson; dearly beloved nieces, Valerie and Elizabeth Anderson; and grand-niece, Halie Cancel.  

Kathy graduated from Grant High School and received her Associate's degree from Mt. Hood Community College.  Before retirement, she was a Teachers Aid with Portland Public Schools and worked primarily with physically and mentally challenged young adults and children. 

Kathy was best known for her contagious smile, her eager and willing listening ear, her compassion for others, and her main love - to be of help and service to any human or animal that crossed her path. There will not be a single person that was in her life that will not be missing Kathy's regular phone calls and visits. 

At Kathy's request, there will be a Celebration of Life, or "A Party!"  which will be held at her sister Debbie's home on Saturday, December 16th at 1 p.m.  Because Christmas was her very favorite holiday to celebrate we will be decorating her Celebration of Life with all of her Christmas decorations, including her nearly 100 Santa Clauses she has collected over the years.
