Kathleen Gayle Grubbs PingOur dear Kathleen passed away on Saturday, October 28, 2017. Kathy was born on September 16, 1946 to Howard and Mitzi (Johnson) Grubbs. She graduated in 1964 from Washington High School in Indianapolis, Indiana. Kathy was the eldest of six children. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Steven and Jeffrey and her sister Victoria. Kathy is survived by her brother Daniel (Nancy) Grubbs, her sister Laura (Ed) Swails, many nieces and nephews, and her companion of 25 years George Wroblewski. Kathy was a dedicated member and employee of the American Legion for many years. Aside from her family and friends Kathy's greatest pleasure was travelling and she spent many vacations throughout Mexico and the Caribbean as well as visiting family in Florida. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Services will be held at Crown Hill Cemetery on Saturday, November 11, 2017 at 11am. Following the service friends and family are invited to attend Kathy's Celebration of Life being held at the American Legion Post 495, 8725 E. 38th Street, Indianapolis, Indiana 46226.
