Potts, Kathleen M.Kathleen M. Potts, age 70, of Tomahawk, WI, passed away and softly left her family on the morning of Wednesday, March 8, 2017, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. She was born on September 16, 1946, in Wausau, WI, to Helen and the late Ervin Goetsch. Kathy grew up in Wausau and was a 1964 graduate of Wausau East High School.She spent her entire working career at Wausau Insurance. She enjoyed being outdoors and sharing good times and laughter with all those around her. Kathy especially enjoyed spending winters in Panama City Beach, FL, with her beloved husband, Larry. Her Christmas fudge was legendary and she lovingly wrapped each individual piece by hand. To know Kathy was to love her. She always had her quick wit and a beautiful smile for all those she met. Survivors include her Husband, Larry Potts; her Mother, Helen Goetsch; her Children, John (Nicole Lord) Paszek, and Ann (Roy) Young; her Stepchildren, Alan (Debbie) Potts, Brian (Kristin) Potts, and Erin (Joe) Alexander; her Siblings, Alan Goetsch, Gary (Sue) Goetsch, Tom (Barb) Goetsch, Mark (Brenda) Goetsch, and Lynn (Tom) O'Malley; and her Brother-in-law, John Sahr. Kathy is also survived by her Grandchildren, Danica Paszek, Derek, Allie, Grace, and Peyton Potts, Kiran and Noemi Potts, Isabella, Jonah, and Lilianna Alexander. She is further survived by many Nieces, Nephews, Friends, and her favorite Granddog, Franklin.Kathy was preceded in death by her Second Husband, Harold Busko; her Father, Ervin Goetsch; her Sister, Karen Sahr; Nephews, Scott Goetsch and Joey Goetsch, and her Special Dog, Fritz. Memorial Mass for Kathleen M. Potts will be held at 12 Noon on Saturday, March 18, 2017, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Tomahawk. Fr. Louis Reddy Maramreddy will officiate with interment to take place at Prairie Rapids Cemetery in the Town of Nokomis in the Spring. Kathy's family invites all to share memories at her visitation at the church from 10 AM until the time of Mass at 12 Noon.
