Kathleen "Katsy" LeBlanc MoutonLAFAYETTE - Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 15, 2017 at a 2:00 PM Mass of Christian Burial at St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church in Lafayette for Kathleen "Katsy" LeBlanc Mouton, age 86, who died on Tuesday, June 13, 2017 at her residence in Lafayette. Entombment will be in St. Peter Mausoleum in Carencro. Reverend Gary Schexnayder, Pastor of St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church in Lafayette will conduct the funeral services. Lectors will be Ashleigh Gauthreau and Lou Labbé. Giftbearers will be Glenda Fontenot, Rachael Broussard and Alexsaundra Broussard. Musical Selections will be, "The Rose", "Wind Beneath My Wings", "I Can Only Imagine" and "Amazing Grace".Survivors include her children, Susan LeBlanc Verret and her husband, Rodney, Christine Stelly, Ricky LeBlanc and his wife,Vicky, Liz LeBlanc Vincent, and Tim LeBlanc and his companion, Nora Pereira; fourteen grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren and one great great grandchild; two sisters, Gayle Bourque and Lou Labbe and her husband, Leon; her brothers, Buddy Broussard and his wife, Gladys, Benny Broussard and his wife, Lou, and Al Broussard and his wife, Betty.She was preceded in death by her parents, Halphen Broussard and the former, Elizabeth Bienvenu; her first husband, Norris J. LeBlanc; two daughters, Monica Lynn LeBlanc and Barbara LeBlanc; her second husband, Freddie J. Mouton; her sister, Jeanette Walet and a brother, Kenneth Broussard.Kathleen Marie Broussard Mouton was born on December 31, 1920 in St. Martinville, Louisiana and was a lifetime resident of Lafayette. Mrs. Katsy was a very talented florist and was formerly employed with Les Amis Florist, Delhomme Florist, Andre's Florist and Chateau de Fleurs. She enjoyed the casinos, golfing, gardening and traveling. Mrs. Katsy was a beautiful, loving lady and always had a kind word and a smile for everyone. She will be truly missed by her family and friends.Pallbearers will be her grandsons.The family requests that visitation be observed in Martin & Castille's DOWNTOWN location on Wednesday from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Thursday from 8:00 AM until time of service. A Rosary will be prayed Wednesday evening at 7:00 PM in Martin & Castille Funeral Home by Brady LeBlanc.
