Kemp, Kathryn F. (Dart)Kathryn F. (Dart) Kemp, 83, Green Bay, died Saturday, November 5, 2016. She was born on July 5, 1933, in Green Bay to John and Helen (Jicha) Mande.Kathryn was the first woman on the Ashwaubenon School Board. Since 1958, she was a member of
VFW Auxiliary Post #2037. Kathryn worked as a switchboard operator for Paper Converting, for the Bay Motel and also owned and operated Gordon Kemp Trucking. She also worked for Strid Grain as a Grain Inspector. Kathryn was a volunteer firefighter for the Ashwaubenon Fire Department and a member of the Green Bay Kennel Club. Lastly she worked for the Daily News in Iron River, MI as an Office Manager. Kathryn enjoyed her dogs, music and traveling.She is survived by her children and their spouses, Bruce Kemp, Mary (Bill Funk) Dart, Barb (Robb) Alvis, Sharon Klug, Elizabeth Berchem, Denise Winters, Robert (Sara) Dart, Jodi Krueger; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends; and her beloved dog, Sunshine.She was preceded in death by her husbands, Philip Dart and Gordon Kemp; her parents, and her brother, Donald Mande.Friends may call at Blaney Funeral Home, 1521 Shawano Ave., from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday. A Prayer Service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Thursday. Friends may also call from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
