Mrs. Yawn was born on June 30, 1925 in Montezuma, Georgia to the late Alex and Mary Ida Sawyer. She was a Beautician for many years. Kathryn was a member of Forest Park United Methodist Church. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband James H. Yawn, two children, Wanda Kay Yawn and Melinda Jean Yawn.
