Kathy Ann Davis-Jenkins was granted her peace on Sunday, November 22, 2020; no more pain, no more sorrow. “Kat,” as she was lovingly called, was the Fourth child born to Charlie Lee Davis and Pamela Sue Johnson-Davis in Cuthbert, Georgia. Both preceded her in death. She was baptized at an early age at Virgil Chapel Baptist Church where she remained a member her entire life singing in the choir. She matriculated at Randolph County High School graduating in the class of 1974. In high school she was outstanding in basketball and softball. After high school she worked as a Certified Nurse Assistant at Joe-Ann Burgin Nursing Home located in Cuthbert, GA until her health failed.
Kathy enjoyed fishing, drawing, and playing bingo with the residents; she had even learned to crochet while she was ill. Pam loved life and she lived life to its fullest; she loved to dance and she was in her zone on the dance floor. There was never a dull moment when she was present.
She was married to Floyd Jenkins. She was the proud mother of three children, two girls and one boy.
Left to cherish her memories are two daughters & one son: Courtney Jenkins, Albany,GA; Cassidy (David) Jenkins- Gilbert , Jacksonville,FL; and Floyd Jenkins Jr., Albany, GA; two sisters- Linda Davis, Cuthbert,GA; Betty Jean (Dereck) Freeman, Pelham,GA; three brothers- Robert (Nancy) Davis, Miami,FL; Justin ( Gloria) Davis, West Palm Beach,FL; James Davis, Sasser,GA; grand children: Raegan Davis, Albany,GA; Raven Davis, Albany,GA; Jason (Chadria) Carter, Jacksonville,FL; one great grand child: Jaxston Carter. special niece and nephew she help raise: Xavier Davis, Cuthbert,GA; Glamour Davis, Cuthbert,GA; and Alexander Davis, Sasser,GA. She also leaves behind several more nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
