She leaves behind her husband of 31 years, James Wilbur Rowe. They were childhood friends since the age of 7 and married on February 11th, 1991.

Her grandchildren: Hailey and Madison Trusty; Tyson, Abby and Tucker Trusty; Landon, Coleson and Brielle Rowe.
Family was so near and dear to her heart. She loved the holidays, Christmas in particular. She always went above and beyond to make Christmas so special for her family. She loved reading Laura Ingalls’ Little House On the Prairie as well as watching the show. She was practically family to The Waltons and Andy Griffith as well. Her biggest hobby, while she was in good health, was traveling to the beach and she always looked forward to planning for July’s big trip. Kathy loved all things beachy, especially Wrightsville Beach, North Carolina. She always called the beach her heaven and that is where she is now, gathering shells and sticking her toes in the sand with Jesus, her Daddy and Mamaw.
It was her wish to be cremated and have her ashes cast at sea so there will be no funeral service held but there will be a gathering for close friends and family at New Beginnings Worship Center on Saturday, September 24th at 2:00pm to celebrate her life.
