Kathy Kay SchooleyKathy Kay Schooley passed away February 9, 2017. She was born on May 11, 1965 in Trenton, MO to Marilyn and Harry Lanpher. She made many explorative moves throughout the midwest before making Fort Collins home base in 1997.She was a seeker and an adventurous spirit who wore a smile no matter the circumstances. She had a love for learning, the natural world, creative endeavors and a good old fashioned road trip. To Kathy, the entire world was a canvass waiting to be painted. She loved the mountains and the Poudre Canyon, as well as the green forests and plains of the midwest. Her spiritual quest over the past few months gave her peace and solace before her death.Kathy is loved and survived by her parents, Marilyn Lanpher, Harry and Concheta Lanpher; siblings, Trisha (Joe Dee) Beach, Curt (Martha) Lanpher, Jill (Jim) Arnold and their families; children, Megan and Ryan Schooley; and former husband, Jeff Schooley. Services were held with family in Springfield, MO. Her ashes will be spread in places dear to her.
