Kathy PitcherSeptember 10, 1965 - July 3, 2013Kathy Lynne Carver Pitcher, 47, of Grace passed away at her home on Wednesday, July 3, 2013.Kathy was born on September 10, 1965 in Logan, Utah the daughter of Denton J. and I. Carma Peterson Carver.Kathy graduated from Grace High School. She lived the majority of her life in Grace, Idaho with a short stay in Montana.She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and had served as Church organist, primary pianist and also in the Cub Scouts. She also played piano for high school choir, plays and weddings.Kathy married Marvin Pitcher June 24, 1983 in Grace, Idaho and they were later sealed in the Logan Utah LDS Temple.She enjoyed camping, hiking, cooking, dancing and family reunions.Kathy is survived by her husband Marvin of Grace, ID, and four sons, Justin and Kyrie Pitcher of Pocatello, ID, Jesse Pitcher of Grace, ID, Jason and Melanie Pitcher of Soda Springs, ID, Jeremy and Amber Pitcher of Pocatello, ID. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, her mother Carma Carver, a brother Ronn and LeeAnn Carver of Logan, UT, and two sisters, Dorothy and Michael Parker of Sarasota, FL, and Susan and Glen Morris of Inkom, ID. She was preceded in death by her father, three brothers, Cliff, Dean , Ken and a sister Diane and a niece, Stephanie and a nephew Brandon.Services will be held on Monday, July 8, 2013 at Noon at the Grace LDS Stake Center. The family will visit with friends on Sunday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the Grace Stake Center and on Monday morning from 10:30-11:30 a.m. prior to services.Burial will be in the Grace Cemetery.Memories and condolences may be shared with the family online at www.simsfh.com.
