It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Katie Jones, born on April 16, 2000, and departed from this world on July 19, 2023. Katie resided in Mathis, Texas, United States throughout her life.

Katie was the beloved daughter of Jacob and Jathy Jones. She had no children of her own but cherished her family and friends dearly. Her kind and compassionate nature brightened the lives of those around her.

During her formative years, Katie attended Mathis High School, where she pursued her education diligently. She graduated from high school in the year 2022, proudly marking the beginning of a new chapter in her life.

Katie found solace in her work as a waiter, where she interacted with people and served them with grace and warmth. Her commitment and dedication to her profession established her as a valued member of the team.

Tragically, Katie's life was cut short due to a stroke. Although we grieve her untimely departure, we find solace in knowing she was loved and cherished by those whose lives she touched.

We remember Katie as a bright light in the lives of her family, friends, and colleagues. Her memory will forever remain etched in our hearts, and we take comfort in the legacy of love and kindness she leaves behind.
