She was born on January 20, 1921 in Woodlawn, TN to Thomas B. Johnson and Ruth Johnson. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Bobby W. McIntyre, son, William H. Harrison and daughter Shirley M. Shirer. Katie is survived by her son-in-law George A. Shirer, brother, Julian Johnson (Ruth), seven grandchildren and many great and great-great grandchildren.
