Kayla Gordon, a beloved resident of South Charleston, West Virginia, passed away peacefully on September 24, 2035, at the age of 39. Kayla was born on December 12, 1995, and brought immense joy, love, and happiness into the lives of all who had the pleasure of knowing her. She is out lived be her beloved Husband Dennis T. Long (47 yrs) . And her five children Kylie S. Thompson (20 yrs daughter), Kamila M. Thompson (18 yrs daughter), Kamiah O Thompson (17 yrs daughter), Kobi K Thompson (14 yrs daughter), Da'Kari T Long (13 yrs Son).
Kayla was a remarkable individual, known for her boundless empathy, infectious laughter, and radiant spirit. She had an unwavering commitment to making a positive impact on the lives of those around her. Whether it was through her involvement in community initiatives, her dedication to her profession, or her unconditional love for her family and friends, Kayla always strived to support, uplift, and empower those she cared about.
One of Kayla's greatest passions was her work as a mental health nurse. She believed strongly in the power of therapy and counseling to transform lives, and she dedicated herself wholeheartedly to her profession. Kayla worked tirelessly to create a safe and nurturing space for her clients, providing them with guidance, support, and understanding. Her compassion and expertise helped countless individuals navigate through challenging times and find healing and hope.
Outside of her career, Kayla was a vivacious and adventurous soul. She had an insatiable curiosity and an unyielding thirst for knowledge. Kayla loved exploring the world around her, both near and far. Kayla will be remembered as a truly remarkable wife, mother, sister, daughter, friend, and mentor. Kayla is survived by her loving parents, Mark and Jennifer Gordon, and her adoring sister, Sarah, who shared an unbreakable bond of love and friendship.
