It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Kaylyn McCollin Goth. Kaylyn was born on May 12, 1964, in Williamsburg East, South Carolina to her parents David Ale McCollin and Shirley H. McCollin. She peacefully passed away on October 27, 2024, surrounded by her loved ones.

Kaylyn married Alexander Goth in 2022 and together they raised two wonderful children, Parla Hilton McCollin and Ibrahim M Goth. She was a loving grandmother and a great grandmother to six grandchildren and her two great grandchildren.

Kaylyn attended Williamsburg County High School and graduated in 2000. She furthered her education at Howard University and graduated in 2012. Kaylyn worked diligently at Andrews and Willie's office department until her retirement in 2024.

Outside of her professional life, Kaylyn enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She had a kind and generous spirit that touched the lives of everyone she encountered.

Kaylyn was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and her siblings and is survived by her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and her great cousin Mariam Hilton and a host of other relatives and friends. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
