Keith L. MillerMANSFIELD: Keith L. Miller, 74, of Mansfield passed away Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at Liberty Nursing Home. Keith was born on June 7, 1942 in Crestline, OH to the late Lowell and Maxine (Coakley) Miller.Keith was a 1960 graduate of Crestline High School. He was a proud veteran, serving in the United States Army. He began his career as a police officer and worked in Crestline and Ontario. Keith retired from the U.S. Postal Service in Bellville where he was a postmaster. Keith was a 32nd degree Mason, and a member the Mansfield Lodge #35 (F & AM). He was also an active member with the Baku Grotto (M.O.V.P.E.R), B.P.O.E Elks Lodge #56, American Legion, and the VFW.Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 34 years, Kathi (Wellman) Miller of Mansfield; a daughter, Maxine (Bobby) Eckert of Crestline; a son, Merv (Pam) Miller of Galion; two step children, Troy (Merit) Simanton of Mansfield and Ryan (Lora) Markham of Ashland; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; a brother, Jack (Cheryl) Miller of St. Marys, OH; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one grandchild, Jessie Call.The family will receive friends from 3:00-6:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 2, 2017 at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington-Springmill Rd. The ELK's will officate a brief service at 3:00 p.m., and a Masonic Service will be held at 5:30 p.m. Burial will take place in Mansfield Memorial Park at a later date.
