Kelly John BaudoinLAFAYETTE - Funeral services will be held at a 12:30 PM Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, July 26, 2017 at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Broussard for Kelly John Baudoin, age 67, who died at 12:07 PM on Sunday, July 23, 2017 at his residence in Lafayette. Entombment will be in Sacred Heart of Jesus Mausoleum.Reverend Michael Delcambre, Pastor of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Broussard will conduct the funeral services. Survivors include his mother, Julie Broussard Baudoin; two daughters, Jennifer Baudoin Campo and her husband Nicholas, Kathryn Baudoin Franklin and her husband Michael; one son, Christopher Baudoin and his wife Renee; five grandchildren, Jacqui Baudoin, Allyson and Mallory Franklin and Amelie and Clark Baudoin; and one sister, Mary Denais and her husband Dale. He was preceded in death by his father, John Baudoin and his wife, Elaine Rozas Baudoin, who died on October 12, 2005. Kelly John Baudoin was born on November 3, 1949 in Abbeville, Louisiana and was a lifelong resident of Lafayette, Louisiana. He was a veteran of military service and proudly served his country as a member of the United States Navy as an Aviation Electronic Technician. He then attended T.H. Harris Technical College where he studied Industrial Electronics. He was a logging Engineer and Chief Electronics Tech at Superior Electric Wireline. He retired after 26 years with the City of Lafayette in Traffic Engineering.Kelly was very involved in his community with his church, BYYA organization as a Coach and Field Maintenance. After retirement he enjoyed building friendships at his most treasured coffee shop.Pallbearers will be Chad Denais, Vince Denais, Joey Anzalone, Richard Viator, Richard Conner III, Richard T. Conner Jr., Jorge Villagomez and Malcolm Bolding. Honorary pallbearers will be Christopher Baudoin, Nicholas Campo, Michael Franklin, Jacqui Baudoin, Marvin Menard, Annette Denais and Howard Clark.The family requests that visitation be observed in Martin & Castille's DOWNTOWN location on Tuesday from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Wednesday from 8:00 AM until time of service.
