Kelly Susan Kakouras ROCK HILL - On October 30, 2016, at 1:45AM, Kelly Susan Kakouras of Rock Hill, SC, passed away after a courageous, three-year battle with cancer. Kelly passed in the comfort or her own home at 48 years old. Visitation will be held at Ellington Funeral Home located at 727 East Morehead Street, Charlotte, NC 28202 on Tuesday, November 1 from 6PM to 8PM. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 2 at 2 PM at Ellington Funeral Home with Pastor Kenneth Walters of South Baptist Church of Rock Hill, SC officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery. Kelly Susan Edwards Kakouras was born on February 20, 1968 in Charlotte, North Carolina, to William McGinn Edwards Jr. and Kimberly Susan Stephens. Kelly was most recognized for her many years as a manger of Captain Steve's restaurant. She went on to pursue her love for decorating and repurposing "old treasures" she would find by selling them at a little shop she opened called "Classy Clutter" located at the Sleep Poet in Charlotte, NC. Kelly was preceded in death by her grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Bill Edwards and her grandfather Mr. Jack Stephens. She is survived by her husband Jimmy George Kakouras, her daughter and son-in-law, Andrew and Brittany Burch, her grandchildren Karrington and Hunley, grandmother Shirley Stevens, father and step-mother Bill and Evelyn Edwards, mother and step-father John and Kimberly Robinson, siblings Payton Randall, Candace Helms, Maggie Pippin, Angela Sawyers, Erin DoerFlinger, Abigail Lawson, BJ Edward, Tommi Leigh Edwards.
