Kenard Hayes, known to friends as "Ken," passed away on Febuary 24, 2019, at the age of 39 years.

A native of Moberly, Missouri Kenard attended Moberly High School, graduating class of 1997.

Kenard was proceeded in death by his Father Ashford Hayes(2002)

He is survived by his Mother Marilyn Hayes( California/Moberly, Missouri) and 5 children, daughter Kendra L. Hayes(of Indianapolis, In), sons Keenan Hayes(Moberly, Mo.) , Kewuan(Texas) and Autumn(Kansas City, Mo), Kylie(Lenexa, Ks.).

A Celebration of Kenard’ s life will be held at 10 am, on Saturday, March 2, at Second Missionary Baptist Church, Rev. Howard Glasgow officiating.

I wake up in the morning

And I look up to the sky

I wonder why he took you

before I said good-bye

I look up to the stars at night

And know you're looking down

I'd like to think you're proud of me

But I'm just stumbling round

I crawl in bed and close my eyes

And realize that you're gone

Then comes the fears and then the tears

And life just seems so wrong

I glance up at the heavens

And I know you're flying by

My Angels watching over me

I'm happy as I cry.
