Kenneth Johnson, 61, of Justice, West Virginia, passed away on June 12, 2018. Kenneth was born on October 19, 1956 to parents George Johnson and Hilda (Armstrong) Johnson, who preceded him in death. He is also proceeded in death by his children, Amylee Johnson and Lula Jane Johnson, who both passed in 1995.
Bill has gone home to meet his maker and be with his beloved wife of 43 years, Jennifer "Jenny" (Hayden) Johnson. Together the two were pillars of the community, leading the way for the opening of Justice Public Library and expansion of Mission Springs State Park. Bill was an active member of the Lions Club and a regular at the VFW, where he spent Wednesday nights sharing war stories with his buddies.
Bill Johnson will be remembered as a smiling, kind man with an open heart and a giving soul. Regulars at Justice General Store will miss his friendly greetings and boisterous good mornings, and members of Mission Springs First Baptist will feel the absence of their regular volunteer groundskeeper for years to come.
Community members are invited to join together in memorial for Bill at Mission Springs First Baptist. Mourners are encourage to donate to the American Heart Association in memory of Bill.
