PATERSON- Kenneth Clyde Johnson, 61, passed away on Sunday, January 23, 2022, at Hackensack Hospital. Born on July 30, 1960 in Paterson, NJ. He was the son of the late Martha and Arthur Johnson, the fifth out of six children. He was educated in the Glen Rock School system and baptized at the New A.M.E Zion Church of Paterson. 

 ​After High School, he was employed with Ashley Construction Company for many years. His true passion was found as an entrepreneur. Known to many as The Car Guy, he was well known for his car and tow businesses. His famous quote " I'mnot working for anyone, Im my own Boss!", and indeed he was. 

 ​He was predeceased by his parents. His sisters Brenda, Verna Johnson,  and Jeryl(Johnson) Hill, and daughter Myeshia Ellerbee.  He leaves to mourn his wife Maria Johnson of Lodi, NJ, two daughters Michelle Smiley of Alpharetta, GA. Sheria Smiley (Rocco), three sons Michael Smiley, David Smiley(Ashona) and Kendall Johnson all of Paterson, NJ. Two brothers Arthur Johnson( Gail) of Ellenville, NY and Darryl Johnson ( Shanna) of Scranton, PA. Grandchilden I'Ajaiyah, David, Neomani, Kelsey, Mikayla, Kasey, and Rocco Jr. Mother in Law Odesta Ellerbee of Alabama and a host of other aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends and his business partner Carlos of C & C Towing.
