Sloup, Kenneth H.Kenneth H. Sloup, age 82, of 1645 Miriam Road, Manitowoc, died early Friday morning with his wife at his side, September 16, 2016 at Aurora Medical Center, Two Rivers.He was born on October 31, 1933 in Tisch Mills, son of the late Joseph and Emily (Konop) Sloup. On October 18, 1958 he married the former Jean Coppersmith at Tisch Mills. The couple have been blessed with over 57 years of marriage. They owned and operated a farm in Tisch Mills. Ken was employed with Hamilton's Manufacturing, Two Rivers, for over 25 years and Parker Manufacturing, Manitowoc, for 20 years, from where he retired. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and was an avid collector of John Deere memorabilia.Survivors include his wife: Jean Sloup, Manitowoc; two daughters and a son-in-law: Sue Reilly and special friend Ed, DePere, Cheryl & Frank Bailey, Maryland; three grandchildren: Andrew Reilly, Nevada, Amy Radue and her husband Nathan, Maribel, Katie Spielman and her husband Tyler, Maryland; three great grandchildren: Jordan, Owen and Tyler Jr.; one brother: Joe Sloup, Michigan; and one sister: Joyce Casavant, Two Rivers. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by one sister: Marcella; two brothers-in-law: Eugene and Jim; and a sister-in-law: Stella.Cremation has occurred at All-Care Cremation Center, Manitowoc. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 20, 2016 at St. Francis of Assisi on Waldo (1121 North 14th Street) Manitowoc. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. Michael Warden.
