Knocke, KennethKenneth L. Knocke, 75 of Eau Claire passed away on Saturday, June 17, 2017 at his home. Kenneth was born on January 11, 1942 to Elmer and Anna (Ochs) Knocke in Sheboygan, Wisconsin. He graduated in 1961 from North High School in Sheboygan. After graduation, Kenneth joined the Navy as part of the Seabees. Kenneth worked for Heilmenn's Brewing in Lacrosse, WI for 26 years, after leaving Heilmenn's, he owned and operated Cluboasis in Sparta, WI for 7 years, and later worked for Leinenkugel's in Chippewa Falls, WI as a Brewhouse Supervisor for 11 years. Kenneth married Nancy Cain on May 30, 1998 in Eau Claire, WI. He adored wildlife, especially birds and was also an avid fisherman. Kenneth always had a joke and a great sense of humor. He had a passion for reengineering and improving things around the house. Kenneth is survived by his wife, Nancy Knocke; children, Kim (Mark) Kallas, Koren (Shannon) Richter, Kurt (Barbara) Knocke, Sandra (Vernon) Savage, Scott Straub, Michelle (Mark) Schnick, David Garvey, Phillip (Ling) Garvey, and Michele (Michael) O'Brien; 21 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren.Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents, Judy Knocke, Carol Straub, and Skylar Schnick. Memorial services will be Thursday, June 22, 2017 at 5:00 pm at Smith Funeral Chapel with Rev. Robert Hoekstra officiating.
