Wagner, Kenneth L.Kenneth L. Wagner, 79, of Sheboygan, WI passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 8, 2017, with many family members at his side, at Loma Linda University Hospital in California. Although he was struggling with Parkinson's Disease, it was a sudden heart attack that took his life.Ken was born on April 15, 1938, in Sheboygan, WI, son of the late Aloysius and Rose (Schwoerer) Wagner. He graduated from Kiel High School in 1956. Ken was united in marriage to Marie Seibel on July 15, 1961 at Holy Name Catholic Church in Sheboygan, WI. They were happily married for over 50 years. Ken was a member of St. Dominic Catholic Church.Ken began his working career as a door-to-door salesman selling fruit and Watkins products. He later used those skills to sell real estate and eventually created his real estate company in Sheboygan, Matthias-Wagner Real Estate Co., with his partner Bill Matthias. He built and sold many houses in and around the Sheboygan area. After retirement, Ken and Marie wintered in California so they could spend time with their daughters, son-in-laws, and their four grandchildren that lived there. After his wife Marie's passing in 2012, he spent most of the year living with his two daughters in California, and spent his summers in Menomonee Falls and/or Wautoma, WI with his other daughter.Ken loved his family and treasured the time he spent with his children, grandchildren, family, and friends. He hosted many gatherings at their home in Sheboygan and cottage on Cedar Lake in Kiel. He enjoyed water skiing, boating, camping, traveling, and grilling at family cookouts. He loved spending time with his friends playing Bridge or Sheepshead, golfing, snowmobiling, playing racquetball, cooking out, or having a nice cold beer. Being at a party with many people was something he loved. Everyone who knew Ken loved him, since he was a kind, generous, and very humble man who always had a smile on his face. Ken is survived by his four children: Linda (Jeff) Heimer of Canyon Lake, CA, Steven Wagner of Sheboygan, Karen (James) Hurley of Menomonee Falls, WI, and Sharon (Tony) Lumsden of Yucaipa, CA; his grandchildren: Bradley (Alicia) and Tyler (Erin) Heimer, Rebecca and Ryan Wagner, Jeremy (Nicole) and Travis Lumsden, and Nathaniel, Noah, and Simon Hurley; and his great-grandchildren April Lumsden and Remmington Wagner. He is also survived by his sister Rosemary Holfeltz of Sheboygan, WI, his in-laws: Vic (Pat) Seibel, Eileen Mischock, Rita (friend Raymond) Tuerk, David Turner, Bea Seibel, Linda Wagner, Bernard, Joe, and John Jr. Seibel, as well as many nieces, nephews and other relatives.Ken has joined the love of his life, his wife Marie, as well as his sisters Lorraine Diederich and Alice Mischock, his parents Al and Rose Wagner; and in-laws: Dorothy Seibel, John Seibel, Edsel Holfeltz, Wilfred Diederich, LaRon Mischock, Kathy Turner, Charlie Tuerk, and Bob Seibel.Ken visited with many family and friends before his passing which was a huge blessing to him. He was caring, hardworking, and loved to be around people. He touched the lives of many and made a lasting impression on all those who knew him. His family will celebrate his life privately.
