Kenneth Michael Halpin, DC MDAGE: 61 • MatawanKenneth Michael Halpin, DC MD, 61, of Matawan, passed away suddenly at home on January 13, 2017. He was born on January 26, 1955 in Jersey City, where he grew up. In 1999, Kenneth and his family settled in Matawan. Kenneth was a Chiropractor/Medical Doctor and proprietor of Westfield Laser Skin Care in Westfield. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Kathleen (Flaherty) Halpin, and his father, Michael Halpin. Kenneth is survived by his loving children, Eoin Michael Halpin and Kaitlin Theresa Halpin, his beloved mother, Theresa (Tuohy) Halpin, and his dear sister, Annmarie Smurla and her husband, Michael, of Cedar Grove. He is also survived by his dear sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Ellen Brummer and her husband, George, Teresa Dolan and her husband, Richard, his cherished nieces and nephew, Bridget Brummer, Megan Dolan, Molly Dolan, Patrick Smurla, and Tara Smurla, along with many adored extended family members and many friends.
