Some may say it is with great sorrow but in reality it is with great joy. Today we announce the Home Going of Kenneth Reed Jr who was born on June 22, 1985 to his parents Kenneth Reed Sr and Rose Harvey Darrell. He was raised in Folkston, GA and later moved to Jacksonville, FL. Today is a Celebration of his life because he surely lived a full and vibrant life, leaving a lasting impact on all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Kenneth Reed Jr is survived by his eight children: Mariyanna Bless Perry, Isaac Ze’Phon Perry, Tatianna Marie Perry, Zoe-yanna Mi-rak Perry, Kentoria Alinia Reed, Andre Joseph Reed, J’lynn Zimir Fudge, and Aaliyah Miracle Perry and preceded in death by his baby girl Saviyanna Marie Perry. Kenneth loved his children deeply and was the best father HE knew how to be.
For those who knew him knew he had a calling and a hobby. He was known in the streets as Street Preacher and known in the studio as So Positive. Any time he spoke it was with passion and wisdom well beyond his own understanding. In his free time, Kenneth enjoyed practicing his artistry and creating beautiful pieces that showcased his creativity and talent. And when God called him to teach, he spoke the words of wisdom.
He once wrote “The key is learning all these human experiences are temporal”. Tragically, Kenneth passed away on October 21, 2024, due to reasons that we don’t want to accept but God makes no mistakes. His untimely death has left a void in the lives of all who knew and loved him.
Although Kenneth aka June may no longer be with us, his memory will live on through the legacy he leaves behind. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Rest in peace, Kenneth Reed Jr. You will always be remembered with love and affection.
