Achey, Kent Dean 53, passed away on August 14, 2016. Memorial service held on Wednesday, August 17, 2016 at 10:00 am, Affinity All Faiths Mortuary, 2850 S Seneca, Wichita. Kent was born on Aug. 18, 1962 in Santa Cruz, CA. Kent retired with USD 259 as a crew person after 34 yeas of service. Kent was preceded in death by his father, Bill Achey. He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Danielle (Petersen) Achey; mother, Karen Whitson; children, Shawn (Tara) Achey, Brett Achey; step mother, Joyce Achey; sisters, Shellie Miller and Kellie Jewett; 3 step sisters, 3 step brothers, numerous nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, and many friends.
