Kenya Nelson, born on March 4, 1975, sadly passed away on October 14, 2023, in Bakersfield, California. She was the beloved daughter of Theodis and Loretta Nelson and sister to Donnell. Kenya leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories.

Throughout her life, Kenya was a devoted mother to her four children Maurice Frazier, Theodis Frazier, Nigella Miller and Melvin Nolbert. Her nurturing spirit and unconditional love shaped their lives in profound ways.

Kenya's journey started in a small town of Wasco, where she attended and graduated from Wasco High School. Her determination for knowledge led her to pursue further education at Bakersfield College. She strongly believed in the power of education and instilled this value in her children.

Professionally, Kenya made an impact as an employee at San Joaquin Valley Hospital as a Nurse. Through her work, she touched the lives of many, providing care, comfort, and support to those in need. Kenya's dedication to her profession and her compassionate nature made her highly respected by her colleagues and patients.

While Kenya was dedicated to her family and career, she also found joy in various hobbies and interests. Her warm smile and infectious laughter could brighten up any room. She had a passion for cooking and loved preparing meals for her loved ones. Kenya's delicious recipes will be cherished and passed on throughout generations.

Kenya was deeply loved and will be missed by all those fortunate enough to have known her. The memories she created, the love she shared, and the impact she made on this world will forever be cherished. Her presence will be greatly missed by her parents, children, siblings, family, friends, and all those whose lives she touched.
