We are saddened to announce the passing of Kevin Kelly, who was born on February 27, 1960, and peacefully passed away on August 16, 2024, in Upper Marlboro, Maryland, United States.

Kevin was the beloved son of Torino Sampson and Gene Kelly. He leaves behind his three loving children, Torino Kelly, Charles Kelly, and Sandra Pittman, as well as eight adoring grandchildren.

Kevin and his children are descendants of a long extinct tribe from southern Maryland. Closely related to the Piscataway tribe.

Kevin proudly served in the Army as a Staff Sergeant in the 82nd Airborne Division unit for 14 years. He was known for his bravery, loyalty, and dedication to his country.

Kevin had a zest for life and a contagious sense of humor. He was always the life of the party and brought joy to those around him. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Although Kevin's passing was heartbreakingly tragic, we take comfort in knowing that he is at peace now. His memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends forever.

Rest in peace, Kevin. You will always be remembered with love and laughter.
