Kevin Bradley Toth58, of New Prague, Minnesota, died October 23, 2017, as a result of complications from high blood pressure. He was born on April 23, 1959 in San Diego, California, the son of Albert and Victoria (Planka) Toth. Growing up he attended elementary and junior high schools in Australia (3 years), and Belgium (4 years); he graduated from Northgate High School in Walnut Creek California. He attended Butler University in Indianapoilis and graduated from
Indiana University (Bloomington) with a major in Journalism and a minor in French. He was a member of Phi Delta Theta fraternity.After university, Kevin joined the
United States Navy, achieved the rank of Lieutenant, earned his wings and became a naval aviator. He was deployed on the USS Enterprise (CVN-65). He later served as a flight instructor in Milton, FloridaLFollowing his time in the navy, Kevin spent the majority of his career in the construction industry, first working for his father's company Toth-Ervin, Inc., in Indiana, and later for his brother's company, Toth Group, Inc., in California. He managed the construction of numerous educational, industrial, and commercial buildings in California and the Midwest.Kevin is survived by his father Albert Toth and wife Carolyn of Indianapolis, Indiana; his mother Victoria Toth of Walnut Creek, California; his daughters Miranda Toth and Jessica Stoodley of Shakopee, Minnesota; his grandsons Gavin Huard, Eli and Finn Stoodley of Shakopee, Minnesota; his sisters Amanda Geer of Columbus, Ohio, and Jennifer Gallagher, of New Castle, Indiana; his brothers Brandon Griffin of Denver, Colorado, Keir Toth of San Diego, California, and Chris Toth of Carmel, Indiana.As Kevin requested his ashes will be sown at sea.
