Kevin HildebrandASHLAND: Kevin Hildebrand, 58, of Ashland passed away after a short battle with cancer on Thursday, October 26, 2017 at University Hospitals Seidman Cancer Center. He was born on May 23, 1959 in Ashland, OH. He was the son of Robert and Norma (Fishpaw) Hildebrand.Kevin worked 23 years at T&A Save Way and then Foodtown, he then spent 8 years at Hospira and most recently at Novatex. Kevin was a loving husband and devoted son and brother who enjoyed time spent with family and friends. Helping others was very important to Kevin as he was a very caring and generous man. Kevin had a great love for the outdoors and enjoyed hunting, grilling, beekeeping, and working in his garden. He also enjoyed playing pool, watching football and NASCAR. Kevin leaves behind his loving wife of 21 years, Elizabeth Kay "Beth" Hildebrand of Ashland; his mother, Norma J. Hildebrand of Ashland; a brother, Terry (Robin) Hildebrand of Ashland; a nephew, Josh Hildebrand; niece, Holly Hildebrand; mother-in-law, Bea Walker of Ashland; and other loving family members and special neighborhood friends. He is preceded in death by his father, Robert H. Hildebrand; and father-in-law, Earl Gene Walker.Family and friends may visit from 4-8pm on Monday, October 30, 2017 at the Ashland Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 308 Claremont Ave. Rev. Donald Earlenbaugh will officiate a funeral service at 11am on Tuesday, October 31, 2017 at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Nankin Cemetery.
